I grew up in south-west England and have always been fond of the great outdoors. As a child I took for granted the wildlife, such as pheasants, foxes, and owls that I encountered when I rode my horse across the moors or walked through the nearby woods.
A safari in the mid-eighties led to a love affair with Africa which has endured. Although I have travelled extensively in sub-Saharan Africa with my camera, Kenya is where I feel most at home.
My photographs have been used to illustrate travel and nature articles and to promote Africa for companies such as British Airways Holidays , Destination Kenya , JMAR Safaris , Select Destinations and Serena Hotels to name but a few. Recent photographic accolades include "Highly Commended" in the German nature competition "Glanzlichter" 2001 and 2002 as well as "Highly Commended" in the
"Agfa Wildlife Awards" 2003.
